Telecommunications Law Professionals PLLC (TLP) is pleased to announce that Dennis P. Corbett joined the Firm as a Member on January 1, 2017.
Dennis comes to TLP from the well-regarded telecommunications law firm Lerman Senter PLLC, where he was a member and head of the Broadcast Practice Group for many years. Dennis handles diverse regulatory and transactional matters for clients, ranging from day-to-day client representation to participation in multiple agency and court proceedings involving issues of industry-wide concern. Dennis also handles major administrative and court litigation, and FCC Enforcement Bureau proceedings, for a wide variety of telecommunications clients.
Dennis has filled various leadership roles within the Federal Communications Bar Association (FCBA). He currently co-chairs the FCBA’s FCC Enforcement Committee, and previously served as a Member of the FCBA’s Executive Committee and co-chair of its Mass Media and Access to Records Committees.
Dennis graduated magna cum laude from Harvard College, and received his law degree from the Georgetown University Law Center, where he served on the editorial board of Law and Policy in International Business.
Dennis has been selected as a “Super Lawyer” by Washington, DC Super Lawyers Magazine in each of the last eight years. He also has long held the top preeminent peer AV rating for both professional excellence and ethics from Martindale Hubbell.
