The Commission published in the Federal Register amended application deadlines for the Rural Utilities Service’s funding for the eConnectivity Pilot Program (“ReConnect Program”), extending the original application window deadlines from the December 14, 2018 Federal Register publication. As a reminder, the ReConnect pogrom will provide loans, grants, and loan/grant combinations to facilitate broadband deployment in rural areas and fuel rural economic development.
The extended application window deadlines are as follows:
- Applications for 100% Loan will be accepted on a rolling basis until July 12, 2019.
- Applications for 50% Loan/50% Grant will be accepted through June 21, 2019.
- Applications for 100% Grant will be accepted through May 31, 2019.
In March 2019, the Department of Agriculture will announce the date that applications will start being accepted through https://reconnect.usda.gov.
