FCC Seeks Comment on Electronic Filing Transition NPRM

On September 30, 2019, the Commission published in the Federal Register the Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (“NPRM”) in the Completing the Transition to Electronic Filing, Licenses and Authorizations, and Correspondence in the Wireless Radio Services proceeding (WT Docket No. 19-212). The NPRM proposes to (1) mandate electronic filings for all submissions to the Universal Licensing System (“ULS”) and Antenna Structure Registration (“ASR”) System, and the appropriate transition period that should be provided; (2) expand electronic filing and correspondence for related systems such as TCNS, and (3) require applicants to provide an e-mail address on their FCC Forms related to these systems. The Commission seeks comment on these proposals.
