On Wednesday, May 20, 2020, the Wireless Telecommunications Bureau issued a Public Notice seeking comment on the issues raised by the Joint Petition for Stay (“Petition”) of the Report and Order adopted in the C-Band proceeding (“Report and Order”) filed by ABS Global Ltd., Empresa Argentina de Soluciones Satelitales S.A., Hispamar Satélites S.A. and Hispasat S.A. (the “Small Satellite Operators” or “SSOs”), thus establishing the comment dates (GN Docket No. 18-122).
As a reminder, the SSOs have challenged the Report and Order in the United States Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit and seek a stay from the Commission while judicial review is pending. The SSOs also sought confidential treatment for certain information contained in the Petition under 47 CFR § 0.459.
