FCC Requests General Information in Verizon/TracFone Deal

On April 14, 2021, the FCC submitted requests for General Information from Verizon Communications Inc. (“Verizon”) and América Móvil, S.A.B. de C.V., (“TracFone”) in the Verizon/TracFone Merger docket.  The FCC is seeking information from both companies regarding their structure, partnerships, reseller locations, brands, networks, geographic areas where they operate, proof that the merger will promote competition and employment opportunities, offered devices, migration plans, and other information relevant to the merger.
