On April 19, 2021, the Office of Managing Director released a Public Notice announcing that the effective date for the new fee rates set forth in the December 2020 Report and Order, described in greater detail below, is delayed. The FCC must provide notice to Congress and update its technology systems before the fees may become effective. The FCC will publish notice in the Federal Register that will identify when each application fee category will become effective at a later date.
