FCC 2020 Application Fee Report and Order Partially Effective July 15

On July 6, 2021, the FCC released a Public Notice announcing that the new application fee schedule announced in the 2020 Application Fee Report and Order will be partially effective July 15, 2021.  The updated schedule of charges for Experimental Radio Services (47 C.F.R. § 1.1103; R&O ¶¶ 60-66, 115-117) and the updated schedule of charges for applications and filings for Media Services (47 C.F.R. 1.1104; R&O ¶¶ 67-114) will be effective July 15, 2021.

The effective date for the updated fees and charges for the following services will be announced at a later date: wireless telecommunications services (47 C.F.R. § 1.1102; R&O ¶¶ 16-65), wireline competition services (47 C.F.R. § 1.1105; R&O ¶¶ 117-134), enforcement services (47 C.F.R. § 1.1106; R&O ¶¶ 130-132, 135), international services (47 C.F.R. § 1.1107; R&O ¶¶ 135- 187), and homeland services (47 C.F.R. § 1.1109; R&O ¶ 134-135).
