Notably, this week, the FCC announced a webinar on the Secure and Trusted Communications Network Reimbursement Program and announced qualified applicants for Auction 110. Here’s your wrap-up:
- Last Thursday, the FCC announced a webinar on the Secure and Trusted Communications Networks Reimbursement Program, which will be held virtually on September 27, 2021 at 10:30 AM. The webinar will provide an overview of the Program, eligibility information, and applications procedures, among other things. For more information, see our post here.
- On Friday, the Office of Economics and Analytics and the Wireless Telecommunications Bureau released a Public Notice identifying 33 applicants that are qualified to bid in Auction 110, which will offer new flexible use licenses in the 3.45-3.55 GHz Band throughout the contiguous United States. Auction 110 is scheduled to begin on October 5, 2021 at 10:00 AM. For more information, see our post here.
- On Monday, the FCC published in the Federal Register a Public Notice seeking to refresh the record on improving competitive broadband access to multiple tenant environments, setting comment and reply comment dates. Comments are due on or before October 20, 2021 and reply comments are due on or before November 4, 2021. For more information, see our post here.
- As a reminder, 2021 regulatory fees are due this Friday, September 24, 2021. Licensees are required to pay regulatory fees in accordance with the Report and Order issued on August 26, 2021. For more information regarding wireless providers’ fee obligations, see our post here.
