FCC Extends ECF Service Delivery Date to June 30, 2023

On February 22, 2022, the Wireline Competition Bureau released an Order extending the Emergency Connectivity Fund service delivery date to June 30, 2023, for all applicants who applied for support for equipment, other non-recurring services, and recurring services during the first or second application filing window.  The extension does not apply to requests for the construction of new networks or the provision of customer premises equipment for datacasting services.  Applicants who have modified their recurring services funding requests to reflect dates that services could be delivered based on the former deadlines may submit a waiver that requests the funds be restored to the original funding requests and subject to the updated service delivery deadline.
