  • ROBOCALLS
    • On 7/21, the Enforcement Bureau released an Order notifying all U.S.-based voice service providers that the Cox/Jones/Sumco Panama Operation (a) failed to respond to the FCC’s cease-and-desist letters, and (b) was suspected of conducting illegal robocalls, and as a result, directed providers to immediately take steps to effectively mitigate the suspected illegal robocall traffic.    For more information and to view a copy of the Order, see our post here.
  • REGULATORY FEES
    • On 7/20, the FCC released a Public Notice announcing that the Fiscal Year 2022 Interstate Telecommunications Service Providers (“ITSP”) and Commercial Mobile Radio Services (“CMRS”) regulatory fee data is available for viewing in the FCC’s CORES system. Providers are encouraged to review their proposed fees and underlying fee data as soon as possible to ensure that it is correct.   • USAC REPORTING FORMS
    • On 7/15, the Wireline Competition Bureau released a Public Notice seeking comment on proposed revisions to FCC Form 499-A and Form 499-Q, and their associated instructions. Comments are due August 15, 2022.  For more information and to view a copy of the Notice, see our post here.
