On August 22, 2022, the FCC published in the Federal Register notice that OMB had approved several portions of the Report and Order and Declaratory Ruling (“Order”) adopting new rules and clarifying existing rules regarding communications services in multiple tenant environments (“MTEs”).
Compliance is required as follows:
- As of August 22, 2022, common carriers and MVPDs must disclose the existence of any new exclusive contracts to market services to tenants of a MTE.
- As of September 26, 2022, common carriers and MVPDs must disclose the existence of any existing exclusive contracts to market its services to tenants of a MTE.
