FCC Releases November Open Meeting Agenda

On November 10, 2022, the FCC released the Agenda for the November Open Meeting, scheduled for Thursday, November 17, 2022 at 10:30.  The meeting can be viewed in person at the Commission’s headquarters or streamed online at www.fcc.gov/live and on the FCC’s YouTube channel.  The following items are scheduled for consideration:

  1. Improving 911 Reliability (PS Docket Nos. 13-75, 15-80; ET Docket No. 04-35) – The Commission will consider a Report and Order to promote public safety by ensuring that 911 call centers receive timely and useful notifications of disruptions to 911 service. (FACT SHEET)
  2. Updating Resources Used to Determine Local TV Markets (MB Docket No. 22- 239) – The Commission will consider a Report and Order that would update its rules to use the most up-to-date market information for determining a television station’s local market for carriage purposes. (FACT SHEET)
  3. Enforcement Bureau Action – The Commission will consider an enforcement action.
