On December 19, 2022, the FCC released a Public Notice announcing that the Order sunsetting FCC Form 477 has been published in the Federal Register and is now effective. Accordingly, broadband providers are no longer required to file broadband deployment data through the FCC Form 477.
As a reminder, subject entities are required to submit Form 477 broadband voice and telephone data through the BDC system going forward. As of December 31, 2022 the FCC Form 477 filing system will no longer accept data. It will remain open only for filers to make corrections to Form 477 filings for data as of June 30, 2022 and earlier.
