- AFFORDABLE CONNECTIVITY PROGRAM
- On 1/13, the FCC published in the Federal Register the Report and Order and Further Notice of Proposed Rulemaking establishing the Affordable Connectivity Program Transparency Data Collection. The Report and Order is effective February 13, 2023, except for certain provisions of the rules. Comments on the FNPRM are due February 13, 2023, and replies are due February 27, 2023. - 911 LOCATION BASED ROUTING
- On 1/17, the FCC published in the Federal Register the Notice of Proposed Rulemaking seeking comment on a proposal requiring wireless carriers and covered text providers to implement location-based routing for 911 calls and texts nationwide. - SATELLITE/EARTH STATION APPLICATIONS
- On 1/17, the FCC published in the Federal Register the Notice of Proposed Rulemaking seeking comment on changes to the rules, policies, and practices governing satellite and earth station applications filed under part 25.
