On April 7, 2023, the FCC published in the Federal Register the Further Notice of Proposed Rulemaking seeking comment on additional proposals to implement robotext blocking, thereby setting the comment and reply comment dates.
Comments are due on or before May 8, 2023.
Reply comments are due on or before June 6, 2023.
The Report and Order adopted simultaneously with the FNPRM and mandating blocking of certain text messages has not yet been published in the Federal Register.
