OPEN MEETING
- This morning, the FCC held the June Open Commission meeting where it considered three items, including a Notice of Proposed Rulemaking to advance the transition to NG911, a Notice of Proposed Rulemaking on strengthening consumer consent for robocalls and robotexts, and a Notice of Proposed Rulemaking on shared use of the 42 GHz band. DIRS
- On 6/5, the FCC released a Public Notice announcing that it was rescheduling its annual Disaster Information Reporting System (“DIRS”) refresher to July 6 and 7, 2023 due to the ongoing DIRS activation for Typhoon Mawar. For more information and to view a copy of the Notice, see our post here.
