On June 21, 2023, the FCC published in the Federal Register the Further Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (“FNPRM”) seeking comment on proposals to improve the effectiveness of Wireless Emergency Alerts (“WEA”), specify performance metrics, and increase transparency regarding WEA use and performance, thereby setting the comment and reply comment dates. Comments are due on or before July 21, 2023.
Reply Comments are due on or before August 21, 2023.
