FCC Publishes NG911 Reliability and Operability FNPRM in the Federal Register

On June 4, 2025, the FCC published the Next Generation 911 (NG911) Reliability and Interoperability Further Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (FNPRM) seeking to enhance the reliability and interoperability of NG911 networks as they replace legacy 911 technology in the Federal Register, thereby setting comment dates. Comments on the FNPRM’s proposals are due on or before July 21, 2025.

Reply comments are due on or before August 18, 2025.
