On September 16, 2025, the FCC published in the Federal Register notice that the Office of Management and Budget (“OMB”) approved the information collection adopted in the Eighth Robocall Report and Order, which modified the FCC’s call blocking rules, as explained in the email chain below. Accordingly, the previously delay provision, 47 C.F.R. 64.1200(o), which requires voice service providers to block calls based on a reasonable Do Not Originate (“DNO”) list, will be effective December 15, 2025.
