On May 8, 2026, the FCC published the Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (“NPRM”) proposing to revise to the Commission’s numbering policies with respect to how assigned numbering resources are utilized, reported, and resold by service providers as part of the FCC’s continuing effort to combat illegal robocalls in the Federal Register, thereby setting comment dates.
