On September 9, 2026, the FCC published in the Federal Register the Further Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (“FNPRM”) proposing to: (1) strengthen obligations for providers filing in the Robocall Mitigation Database (“RMD”); and (2) deter bad actors and non-compliant providers from entering or remaining in the RMD.
Comments are due October 9, 2026.
