On March 13, 2024, the FCC published in the Federal Register<\/a> the Report and Order (\u201cR&O\u201d) adopting rules requiring Commercial Mobile Radio Service (\u201cCMRS\u201d) providers to deploy location-based routing (\u201cLBR\u201d) technology to route IP-originated wireless 911 calls and real-time-text (\u201cRTT\u201d) communications to the appropriate public safety answering point (\u201cPSAP\u201d).\u00a0 .<\/p>\n
