FCC Releases Public Notice on Iconectiv LNPA and Webcast Information

The Wireline Competition Bureau (“Bureau”) released a Public Notice announcing that as part of the Local Number Portability Administrator (LNPA) Transition, iconectiv, the next LNPA, launched the Wireless Do-Not-Call (WDNC), Enhanced Law Enforcement Platform (ELEP), and law enforcement Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) Interactive Voice Response (IVR) services on March 4, 2018.

The iconectiv WDNC, ELEP, and law enforcement PSAP ICR services passed the Service Operating Status checkpoint yesterday on March 6. All users of these services should use iconectiv credentials to access the iconectiv online portals going forward. The existing platforms supported by the incumbent LNPA will be discontinued on March 9, 2018.

The Bureau also released a follow up Public Notice announcing that the date and time of the 26th LNPA Transition Outreach and Education Plan (TOEP) webcast will be March 14, 2018 at 3:00 pm ET. The webcast is designed to keep parties informed about the upcoming transition.
