On October 1, 2020, the Commission released the Report and Order (“R&O”) that adopts rules to streamline and improve FCC coordination with Executive Branch agencies during review of certain applications involving national security, law enforcement, foreign policy, and trade policy concerns (IB Docket No. 16-155). This item was adopted at the September Open Meeting.
The adopted item does not make any substantive changes from the circulated draft version. The R&O will become effective 30 days after publication in the Federal Register.
