FCC Announces Opposition Deadlines for APCO and CTIA E911 Petitions for Reconsideration

On October 8, 2020, the Public Safety and Homeland Security Bureau (“Bureau”) released a Public Notice announcing the filing deadlines for oppositions to a Petition for Reconsideration filed by the Association of Public-Safety Communications Officials-International, Inc. (“APCO”) and a Petition for Reconsideration filed by CTIA to the Sixth Report and Order in the Wireless E911 Location Accuracy Requirements proceeding.

 

Oppositions to the petitions for reconsideration must be filed within 15 days of publication of the petitions’ filing notice in the Federal Register.  Replies to those oppositions must be filed within 25 days of the publication in the Federal Register.
