FCC Sets Comment Dates for NPRM Proposing Streamlined Process to Report Illegal Robocalls and Spoofing

On January 4, 2021, the FCC published in the Federal Register the Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (“NPRM”) setting forth a new streamlined process for reporting calls or text messages that violate laws regarding robocalls or spoofing, pursuant to the TRACED Act, thereby setting the comment and reply comment deadlines.

Comments are due on or before February 3, 2021.

Reply comments are due on or before February 18, 2021.
