FCC Announces Webinar on the Secure and Trusted Communications Networks Reimbursement Program

On Thursday, September 16, 2021, the FCC released a Public Notice announcing an upcoming webinar on the Secure and Trusted Communications Networks Reimbursement Program (the “Program”) to be held on September 27, 2021, starting at 10:30 a.m. ET.  As a reminder, the Program reimburses providers of advanced communications services with ten million or fewer customers for removal, replacement, and disposal of communications equipment or services that: 1) pose a national security risk; 2) are produced or provided by Huawei Technologies Company or ZTE Corporation; and 3) were obtained on or before June 30, 2020.  The webinar will provide an overview of the Program, eligibility information, and application procedures, as well as walk through the online portal for filing Application Requests for Funding Allocation, the User Guide for participating parties, and outreach tool kit materials.  Registration is not required, and the webinar can be viewed live at fcc.gov/live and will be archived at fcc.gov/supplychain.
