FCC Acting Chairwoman Proposes Expanding 988 Access via Texting

On March 31, 2021, the FCC released a statement noting that Acting Chairwoman Rosenworcel was proposing that the FCC consider making the 988 National Suicide Hotline reachable by text messaging to increase accessibility to the service.
