On March 30, 2021, the FCC released a Fact Sheet on Preparing for the Transition to the 988 Suicide Prevention Lifeline and an associated list of Area Codes Required to Transition to 10-Digit Dialing.
Both documents were released as a part of the FCC’s efforts to begin the transition to 988 as the nationwide Suicide Prevention Hotline.
